(FOX19) - Various bridge inspection work in Hamilton County this week will require the following lane and/or ramp restrictions:
Tuesday, July 9: Inspection of the bridge over the ramp from Gilbert Avenue (across from the Hollywood Casino) to northbound Interstate 71 will require a lane closure, beginning with the add lane on Gilbert Avenue to permit access for equipment. The thru lane on Gilbert Avenue will remain open to traffic. Closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11: Inspection will require closing the right lanes of the U.S. 42 ramp to southbound I-71 between hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. both days.
Friday, July 12: Inspection will require closing one lane of northbound U.S. 42 under I-71 from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. with the width of the ramp from northbound I-71 to U.S. 42 reduced.
Officials with the Ohio Department of Transportation say arrow boards and signs will be in place to alert drivers of upcoming lane and ramp restrictions.
Drivers should remain alert, reduce speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through work zones.
