CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - After a big social media push, a video game that was reported stolen from a Cincinnati arcade is turned back in.
Earlier this month, Arcade Legacy reported to police that a copy of the rare Super Nintendo game Pocky & Rocky 2 was stolen through a tag switch.
According to the store's owner, the suspect picked up the game, worth about $130, off the store's counter and walked away.
The store says the suspect the switched that game's price tag with one that showed a $2 price. He then paid $2 for the game at the counter and left.
After the story was reported on websites and social media throughout the city, the store's owner reports that the game was returned to the store by a third party the next day.
No charges will be filed and the game is now for sale.
