ATFR raises money for Dance With My Daddy - Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV

Fathers raise funds to support children with special needs

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Awesome Fathers Taking Roles (AFTR) will host a fundraiser on July 11 to support the second annual dance for fathers called, Dance with My Daddy, at Locals Sports Bar & Grill.

The dance is for fathers and their children with special needs and provides a night of dancing, prizes, and grants for costly medical bills. The fundraiser is second of two that the organization has put on in the month of July.

"We believe these two fundraisers can raise a good amount of money for our dance this year," said Mark Walker, founder of ATFR.

Locals Sports Bar & Grill will donate ten percent of all alcohol, boneless wings, fried pickles and peppers sales back to ATFR. The Cincinnati Reds Rover vehicle will also be on site providing entertainment.

"We are blessed to have two great Cincinnati establishments that have decided to give back to a cause they believe in," said Walker.

The Locals Sports Bar & Grill is located at 19 East 7th Street., Cincinnati, OH 45202 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. For more information, visit www.dancewithmydaddy.com or call the organization at 513-341-7846.
