YARNELL, AZ (CBS5) -

Members of the Incident Management Team who responded to the Yarnell Hill Fire that took the lives of 19 firefighters, is thanking the communities for their support.

"This tragedy has brought people together in a way that no one could have ever predicted. The outpouring of love, kindness, donations and hospitality has been immeasurable," said the Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial Incident Management Team (IMT) in a statement released Friday morning.

The 19 firefighters were from the Prescott Fire Department's Granite Mountain Hotshots team. They were fighting the lightning-caused wildfire on Sunday, June 30 when the winds changed and the firefighters died. One member of the crew, who was serving as a lookout, is the sole surviving Prescott Hotshot.

"As our time as an organized IMT is ending for this incident, we know that families, friends and colleagues of our fallen Granite Mountain Hotshots will be beginning to process their losses. Please know that as we leave, our thoughts and prayers will remain in Prescott, Yarnell and the many hometowns of our fallen," IMT said.

As of Monday, the city of Prescott will be handling any questions by people impacted by the wildfire, and can be reached at 928-777-1393.

If you are interested in donating to the families of the victims, IMT recommends one of the following ways.
