15-year-old boy wanted in OTR shooting

OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Police are searching for a 15-year-old boy suspected of shooting another teen in the foot early Friday morning.

Authorities say David Asher Baskin is wanted for felonious assault.

It happened Friday around 5 a.m. at the Clifton View Apartments, located near the 2000 block of W. Clifton Avenue. Police say a 14-year-old female was shot in the foot. 

The victim was then taken by private vehicle to the 6400 block of Hammel Avenue in Golf Manor, where a friend called 911. She was then taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police describe Baskin as a black male, 5'09" and 140 pounds. His last known address is in the 1700 block of Baltimore Avenue in North Fairmount. Police say he was armed with a handgun.
