CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Bunbury Music Festival began Friday at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove.

Did you know 'to bunbury', or 'to go bunburying' is to have a made up excuse to get out of doing something boring?

Hundreds ditched their 9-5's, regular happy hours and average ho-hum days to kick off the greatest outdoor music festival known to man (or Cincinnati).

Scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the gates open at 1 p.m. each day.

We've got the weekend's full (and awesome) lineup here: http://www.fox19.com/story/21199445/lineup-for-2013-bunbury-fest-in-cincinnati-oh

If you've got some extra time to kill before heading over, because you know you should, here are the festival dos and don'ts: http://www.fox19.com/story/22817504/the-dos-and-donts-of-the-bunbury-music-festival-in-cincinnati

There's even a new and improved 2013 Bunbury Mobile App for iPhone and Android so you won't miss a beat.

Tickets are still being sold via Bunburyfestival.com. One-day is $65.00 and Three-day is $130.00.
