New Chuy's wants to make your dog a model

To populate the dog wall in its La Chihuahua Bar, the new Chuy's opening up in Madeira invites all dog owners to have their canine's photo taken at PetPeople, 9867 Montgomery Road, on Saturday, July 20 from 1-4 p.m.

For a $5 donation to Circle Tail, Chuy's will take your dog's photo, frame it and hang it on the dog wall at its new Tex-Mex style restaurant opening August 20.

All proceeds go directly to Circle Tail, a non-profit organization that trains service and hearing dogs to assist people with disabilities.

"The dog wall is just one example of how we make every Chuy's restaurant special for the local community. Diners love coming in to see their dog's photo hanging on our walls," said Ron Carson, local owner/operator of Chuy's Cincinnati. "We're thrilled to work with two great organizations to put on this event and are thankful for everything PetPeople and Circle Tail do for the community."

In addition to the framed photo on the wall at the restaurant, all participants will receive a gift card for a free appetizer.

Located at 7980 Hosbrook Road, the new Chuy's will be the first in Ohio and second in the region – joining the Florence, Ky. restaurant that opened in November 2012.
