The YMCA in the heart of West Chester Township is one step closer to becoming a reality.
On Monday, the zoning commission took the second to last step needed to clear the way for the proposed two-story, 100,000-square-foot facility.
The new 'Y' will be located near the corner of Beckett Road and Union Centre Boulevard.
The West Chester Board of Trustees is expected to hold a public hearing for the final vote in August.
