TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man charged with murder was back in front of a judge Thursday.

David Zielinski is accused of murdering Michael Jackson over the weekend. Jackson was shot six times and stabbed twice while he slept.

Jackson's mother says her son did not deserve this and Zielinski did not even know him.

"I'm gonna keep saying it: My son did not deserve to die like this," said Pamela Jackson.

When asked if he had an attorney to represent him, Zielinski told the judge he did not have a chance to shower, so he did not have representation.

Jackson's mother said that is a poor excuse.

"He shouldn't even have the right to shower. He shouldn't even have the right to breathe. My son's not breathing today. My son's not even here today," said Jackson.

Zielinski will be back in court again Friday since he did not have an attorney present for the second day in a row. He remains in jail on $1 million cash bond.
