Million dollar bond for man accused of murdering brother

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police have made an arrest in the murder of a Colerain man.

Daniel Littlepage, 47, was arrested on Sunday following the murder of his brother on Thursday. He appeared in court on Monday morning and had his bond set at $1 million.

According to the Colerain Police Department, Larry Littlepage, 53, was found dead in his home by co-workers on Friday when he didn't show up for work.

Larry was found in the basement of his home in the 8900 block of Pippin Road with at three gunshot wounds.

Detectives soon developed Daniel Littlepage as a suspect in his brother's murder and tracked him. Colerain Police and detectives followed Littlepage to a chapel inside Mercy Hospital in Mt. Airy. Police were able to take him into custody without incident.

Court documents reveal that Daniel Littlepage admitted to killing his brother.

Police say Daniel Littlepage tracked his brother's movements for a month. Daniel shot his brother once in the stomach and twice in the head during a conversation about their father's estate.

Daniel says he shot him so "His brother could remember him."

Daniel also threatened to kill his other brother and sister.
