Franklin worker killed in industrial accident identified

FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) - Police have identified a worker who died in an industrial accident in Franklin.

At approximately 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, the City of Franklin's Emergency Dispatch Center received a call in reference to an industrial accident at Cheney Pulp & Paper located at 1000 Anderson Street.

Police say Terry Ray, 48, of Franklin, was operating a Bobcat tractor underneath a rotary digester roller that was spinning. The machine struck and killed Ray.

The only other industrial death at this Franklin business was back in 1934 when a pulp dryer exploded, according to
