Hagit Limor joining the FOX19 Investigates team

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

WXIX-TV is pleased to announce the hiring of Hagit Limor as an Investigative Reporter for FOX19 Balanced News.  Hagit is an award winning investigative journalist, most recently as part of the I-Team at WCPO where she worked for 19 years.

Hagit is currently an Assistant Professor of Electronic Media at the University of Cincinnati, a position she will keep while investigating stories for Tri-State viewers.  "Hagit is the perfect fit for FOX19 News," said News Director Kevin Roach. "Her intelligence, passion for journalism and investigative drive will help us bring the balanced reports our viewers want."

Hagit will join recent hire Amy Wagner, newly named evening anchor Scott Schneider, investigative reporter Matt Nordin and a soon to be hired investigative producer to form the new FOX19 Investigative Reporting Unit.  "Hagit Limor is a known entity to Tri-State viewers," said FOX19 General Manager Bill Lanesey.  "Viewers who have watched her past reports know that she is an investigative force to be reckoned with.  We are thrilled to have her as an anchor on our investigative team and excited that she will continue to provide Cincinnati with her world-class brand of investigative reporting."

"I'm thrilled to find a new home and to continue the investigative reporting I've come to love," said Hagit.  "The people of Cincinnati deserve more voices shining a light on ways to improve this great city and holding accountable those in whom we hold a public trust."  Hagit will contribute to The FOX19 Evening News at 6:30 and The FOX19 10 O'Clock News.
