SPRINGFIELD, OH (FOX19) - A Springfield, Ohio golf course is now offering hovercrafts to drive golfers around the course.
Windy Knoll Golf Club introduced the public to the unique 'Hovercarts' on Saturday at the course's Hover Bash. Attendees got a first glimpse at the future of the golf course.
A trained pilot will operate the hovercraft/golf cart hybrid to tag along with golfers as they play.
American golfer Bubba Watson owns a similar Oakley hovercart.
Windy Knoll Golf Club will become the first course in the United States to have hovercraft carts available for public use. The course will feature two of the space-age hovercrafts which the they will use for special occasions.
