Police now looking for missing Florence man in Seattle

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) -

The case of a missing Florence man has moved to the other side of the country.

The family of Gregory Michael Hughes, 31, reported him missing on July 25.

Hughes suffers from a mental illness and is not taking his medication.

Earlier this week, Florence Police asked for the public's help in locating Hughes.

On Wednesday, they announced that Hughes left Cincinnati and took a bus to Seattle, Washington.

Florence police are working with Seattle police to locate Hughes.

Hughes is described as having a thin build, 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has curly brown hair, blue eyes and wears glasses.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Florence Police at 513-647-5420.
