CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -

The 8th annual University of Cincinnati Women's Football Clinic was held Wednesday evening inside Nippert Stadium, teaching women the ins and outs of football all for a good cause.

The event, hosted by head coach Tommy Tuberville, instructs female participants on the game of football, both on the field and in the classroom. It also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Bearcats football program.

The $75-$100 cost to participate included happy hour, dinner from Panera Bread, the opportunity to take a picture with Coach Tuberville and more.

All proceeds benefit breast cancer research at The Barrett Cancer Center at University of Cincinnati Medical Center for their clinical, educational and research programs.

Organizers say over the past seven years, the event has raised well over $100,000 for local breast cancer research.
