3 arrested following bad rash of vandalism in NKY

BOONE CO., KY (FOX19) - Investigators have charged three individuals following a vandalism spree stretching from March to July throughout Hebron and Burlington, Kentucky.

Authorities say that 26 vehicles have had windows smashed and 4 mailboxes have been damaged in the overnight hours by perpetrators using cinder or concrete blocks, a log, an automobile tire jack, and bricks.

It began the weekend of March 9th-10thwhen five vehicles and four mailboxes were damaged on Damascus Road in Hebron and Fawn Drive & Sundance Boulevard in Burlington.

There were no more incidents until May 29th-30th when four more vehicles were damaged on Sunchase Boulevard, Damascus Road, and Micah Court.

Two weeks later 10 more vehicles were reported on Petersburg Road, Berwood Lane, Coral Drive, and West Horizon Drive.

The latest rounds occurred on July 20th-21st, July 24th-25th, and July 27th.  There were seven vehicles vandalized in that series affecting vehicles on Sequoia Drive, Petersburg Road, and Bermuda Drive.

One adult and two juveniles have been arrested for their participation.

Andrew Epperson, 18, of Hebron, Kentucky was arrested on Saturday. He has been charged with criminal mischief and unlawful transaction with a minor. Eperson is being held in the Boone County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond.

Two 17-year-old juniors, one from Hebron and one from Burlington, have each been charged with criminal mischief.
