New technology center opens in Hamilton

A new data center is projected to bring in new technology jobs to Hamilton according to Mahendra Vora, chairman of the Vora group.

The formation of Ascendum Infrastructure Management Solutions (AIMS), the newest member of the Vora Group, will provide high-availability data center hosting and cloud infrastructure solutions to small, medium and enterprise clients and offer opportunities for individuals attracted to the field of technology.

AIMS will operate as a subsidy of Ascendum Solutions, the Vora Group's IT solutions provider member company and will be headed by Timothy Campbell, president and general manager.

"We anticipate that AIMS will significantly enhance the value of the IT solutions offered by Ascendum Solutions by enabling our clients to procure both a technology solution and hosting/cloud infrastructure upon which it will run from a single source," said Vora.

Surging market demand for turnkey, subscription-based, hosting/cloud infrastructure solutions led to the launch of AIMS as a separate company.
