Aiken HS home of two new campuses beginning Aug. 21

COLLEGE HILL (FOX19) - An open house was held Friday for the new Aiken High School in College Hill.

The $29 million new Aiken is the last new building to be built under Cincinnati Public Schools' (CPS) decade-long, $1 billion Facilities Master Plan.

The school will hold 1,000 students beginning August 21 and is designed for two different programs.

The first is Aiken New Tech, offering project-based learning, integrated technology and real-world experiences for students grades 7-12.

The second program is Carpe Diem-Aiken, which is a CPS-sponsored, tuition-free charter school also for grades 7-12.

The new facility will be open to the public Saturday for an open house from 1-3:30 p.m.
