(FOX19) - A truck driver was entrapped inside of her truck for 45 minutes after her semi-truck flipped on Monday night.
It happened Monday around 8:10 p.m. on the ramp from I-275 north to I-74 west in Whitewater Township.
Police say that Cris Fuller, 53 of Knoxville Tennessee, was headed northbound on I-275 at the time of the accident. As Fuller rounded a curve, she lost control of her vehicle and traveled off the left side of the roadway.
The vehicle flipped over onto its side, entrapping Fuller. Police say the driver was entrapped for 45 minutes before EMS could extricate her.
Fuller was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The westbound entrance ramp of I-74 was closed for several hours following the accident.
Fuller has been cited for failure to maintain control of her vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
