CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Multiple law enforcement agencies have collaborated to issue an OVI checkpoint on August 10 in Warren County.
The checkpoint will be held on SR 741, which is just north of W. Lytle Five Points Road in Warren County from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), in collaboration with the Warren County Sheriff's Office, Springboro Police Department, Clearcreek Township Police Department, Franklin Police Department and the Ohio Investigative Unit will conduct this checkpoint to deter and intercept drivers who are impaired.
This federally funded project will also include saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.
OSHP advises drivers to choose a designated driver or create alternative travel arrangements before drinking. For more information about driver safety visit the official OSHP website.
