LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - Community members of Lebanon will have the chance to learn crime prevention tips from an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer on September 12.
The Community Shield training session is a one-hour training block that teaches civilians how to detect impaired drivers, patrol for criminals, and how to assess homeland security threats and human trafficking.
OSHP says that it is conducting the training to assist local law enforcement and troopers as "an extra set of eyes and ears."
A complimentary license plate bracket will be provided to trainees at the conclusion of the training.
Call the Lebanon Post at 513-932-4444 by September 10, 2013 to register for this training session. Space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
