Firefighters treated for heat exhaustion following Hamilton fire

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Two firefighters have been treated for heat exhaustion following a fire in Hamilton, Ohio.

Police responded to the 500 block of S. Martin Luther King Blvd. around 11:30 p.m. on Friday night. Upon arrival, responding units found flames coming from the rear of the structure and heavy smoke coming from the windows on the first and second floors.

An exterior attack was executed and the fire was quickly extinguished.

Two firefighters were treated at the scene for heat exhaustion.

Damage has been estimated at $40,000.

The fire is currently under investigation.
