Designer chairs worth $73K stolen in Evendale

EVENDALE, OH (FOX19) -

Police say three designer chairs were stolen from the Formica Corporation last week in Evendale worth thousands of dollars.

Authorities say the thefts were reported on Friday, August 9 from the facility located at 10155 Reading Road.

According to the Evendale Police Department, the chairs are valued at approximately $73,000. They originally constructed as part of an exhibition for the Contemporary Arts Center.

They were built by Formica based on commission designs by renowned architects Peter Eisenman, Michael Graves and Laurinda Spear.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the chairs should call Lt. Jeff McDaniel at the Evendale Police Department at (513) 563-2249.
