CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A local non-profit dedicated toward improving the health of Cincinnati residents announced its new name on Tuesday.
The former Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati will now be known as Interact for Health. The foundation's mission will remain the same - Keeping the region as healthy as possible.
Interact for Health promote healthy living through grants, education, and policy, according to their website, and serves 20 counties in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
The non-profit takes a "holistic approach" to promoting health with five core strategic areas, including healthy eating, active living, mental and emotional well-being, healthy choices about substance use and protecting the healthcare safety net.
