Entries now accepted for Summerfair Cincinnati poster contest

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Summerfair Cincinnati is now accepting entries until Thursday, December 12, for the 2014 poster design competition at the annual fair.

The competition is one of Cincinnati's longest-running visual design contests and the winner will receive a $2,000 prize and a significant amount of exposure when the design is displayed at the annual fair.

To qualify, artist must be 18 years of age or older and live within a 75-mile radius of the Greater Cincinnati area.

Entries can be submitted through a variety of mediums (pastels, oils, gouache, full-color photos, prints, etc.). Three dimensional, sculptural or bas-relief designs should be an entry size 2-D reproduction for judging. The winning artist will be required to prepare a high resolution digital file of their design.

The winner will be notified on Monday, January 20, after each entry is judged by a comprised number of professionals from the Greater Cincinnati art community in collaboration with the Summerfair Cincinnati membership.
