An 84-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday afternoon in Turtlecreek Township.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) says Harold McCain, 84, of Lebanon, was driving a Chevrolet Colorado southbound on S.R. 123 about half of a mile south of Lebanon. Edward Dotson III, 32, of Blanchester was headed northbound in a Ford F-150.
According to OSP, McCain pulled in front of Dotson's truck while attempting to turn left into a driveway.
He was hit by the F-150 and taken to Atrium Hospital. From there, McCain was flown to Miami Valley Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Dotson and another passenger received only minor injuries from the crash and were not taken to the hospital.
Authorities say McCain was not wearing his seatbelt.
