Sobriety checkpoint announced in Sharonville tonight

SHARONVILLE, OH (FOX19) - The details of a sobriety test tonight have been released by the Hamilton Country OVI Task Force to combat impaired driving.

Drivers in Sharonville can expect to see sobriety checkpoint in the 10900 block of Reading Road (US-42) from 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. on August 24.

The Hamilton County OVI Task Force, Sharonville Police Department, and Ohio State Highway Patrol will be stationed at the check point and conduct saturation patrols in the area to apprehend impaired drivers.

The sobriety checkpoint is one of others used to help combat impaired driving through individual agency efforts and a national campaign, "Driver Sober or Get Pulled Over."

Drivers are encouraged to arrange a designated driver if they plan to drink and can learn more abut the Task Force by visiting its Facebook page or Twitter feed.
