TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A motorcycle vs. motorcycle accident sent one man to the hospital late Saturday night.

One motorcyclist  was attempting to turn right off of Front Street into a private driveway, according to state troopers.

The driver, 31-year-old David Watson of Toledo, did not see a second motorcycle, driven by 53-year-old Richard Phalin Jr. of Toledo, prior to turning.

Watson's Yamaha hit the left side of Phalin's Harley Davidson.

Watson and his passenger, 34-year-old Kimberly Johnson, were thrown from their motorcycle. Both were wearing helmets. They had minor injuries and were treated at the scene of the crash.

Phalin and his passenger, 42-year-old Heather Lenix, were also wearing helmets.

Lenix was not injured, but Phalin had to be transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center by EMS. Authorities say Phalin had serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

According to Highway Patrol troopers, alcohol use contributed to the crash.

Watson was arrested for OVI and aggravated vehicular assaulted. He is currently in the Lucas County Jail pending an arraignment in Toledo Municipal Court.
