Second Bowling Green kidnapping suspect due in court

Hui Zang Hui Zang
BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The second kidnapping suspect who turned herself in earlier this week is expected in Bowling Green Municipal Court Wednesday afternoon.

Bowling Green Police say 23-year-old Hui Zang lured a foreign exchange student attending the University of Toledo on a Chinese language website, and convinced the victim to go with her to Cedar Point only to kidnap and rob the victim.

Further police investigation revealed Zang had contacted several UT students on the Chinese language site, posing as a UT student, to set up the kidnapping and robbery.

The incident remains under investigation. Police say charges are pending against two other suspected involved.

Anyone with more information should call Bowling Green Police at 419-352-2571 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-54CRIME. You may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
