Both the Democratic and Republican presidential tickets are targeting northern Ohio with campaign stops today. Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards will address the Cleveland City Club at 9 a.m. Vice President Dick Cheney will hold a rally at the Fulton County fairgrounds in northwest Ohio's Wauseon, near Toledo. Both men made stops yesterday in Ohio. Edwards pounded hard on the Democratic themes of health care, jobs, the economy and what he calls Bush's mishandling of Iraq during a visit to a Cincinnati recreation center. Meanwhile, Cheney told a partisan Republican crowd at Grove City High School near Columbus that voters need to re-elect Bush to aggressively fight the terrorist threat to the United States.
