Three people were wounded and nearby cars and a business were riddled with bullet holes when someone fired into a crowd in Middletown Monday evening.
Police say one or more men started shooting while two groups of women were arguing on a street corner on the city's south side. None of the wounded are believed to have been involved in the altercation. Police say about 20 shots were fired. They say none of injuries are considered life-threatening. No arrests have been made.
Detectives speculate that the shooting might have been related to another shooting outside a nightclub Friday night because the victim in that shooting was the brother of a man wounded Monday.
