TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

After being released from jail last week following a fatal motorcycle crash, the man accused of causing it is back behind bars.

Toledo Police say David Robinson crashed into Jason Alexander and fled the scene on foot. Alexander did not survive the accident. On Wednesday, Robinson was indicted by a grand jury and sent to the Lucas County Jail.

The grand jury only indicted Robinson on charges of failure to stop after an accident; however, police say they are working on more charges against him

Police have drawn blood from Robinson, which is being tested for controlled substances while he sits in jail.

Alexander's family is trying to come to grips with losing their loved one.

"I don't care about the circumstances of what he was on, or what he has done, or he can't be held accountable to stand. I don't believe that, and I really pray to God that justice will be served for my cousin and his family," said Melyssa Evans, Alexander's cousin.

Alexander leaves behind three children and a wife. The family is having a car and bike wash fundraiser at the Auto Zone between Douglas and Jackman on Saturday. All of the money will go to help support his children.
