CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police say that two males, both 15, are facing multiple charges after sending police on a chase on the Westside Thursday evening.

A Green Township officer reports that a silver Nissan Altima drove near the area of Greenway and Westbourne and committed a traffic violation.

The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop but the vehicle fled when the sirens and lights of the police car became active.

According to police, the suspects fled southbound on Westbourne, and then continued westbound on Werk Road. Officers say that the driver was driving of a speed at least 60 mile per hour.

The driver eventually lost control after traveling to the 2100 block of Van Blaricum and crashed into a landscaping boulder before completely stopping in a wooded area.

Police say that the suspects attempted to escape on foot; however, several responding agencies were able to help quickly apprehend the suspects.

The passenger of the runaway vehicle was transported to Children's Hospital to be treated for a prior injury before being taken to a juvenile corrections center.

An investigation shows that the suspects' vehicle was stolen earlier on Thursday evening. Police found multiple items inside the vehicle that had been stolen from other vehicles in Cincinnati and Green Township.

The teen suspects are currently at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center and face a combination of felony, misdemeanor, and traffic charges.
