Bengals: DeQuin Evans gets 8-game suspension for PEDs


CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Bengals announced DeQuin Evans has been suspended without pay for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

According to Bengals PR, Evans, a defensive lineman, has been suspended for the first eight games of the 2013 regular season.

He has spent two seasons on the Bengals practice squad. DeQuin was previously suspended four games in 2011 for the same reason.

He will be eligible to return to the Bengals' active roster on Monday, October 28 following the team's Sunday game against the New York Jets.
