CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The UC Bearcats set a game attendance record during their victory against Purdue University's Boilermakers on Saturday.
Fans and the UC band wore all white to have a "white out" in support of UC against Purdue at Nippert Stadium.
More than 36,000 fans went to the game to see the debut of new Head Coach, Tommy Tuberville. The number displayed the largest crowd in the 96-year-history of the stadium.
Extreme heat warnings were in effect for both players and spectators, who faced temperature in the mid-90s. Despite the weather barrier, UC gained a 42-7 victory over Purdue.
