Deputies find mobile meth lab in Meijer parking lot

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Two people were arrested Sunday after authorities say they found a mobile meth lab in the Meijer store parking lot.

The Clermont County Narcotics Unit received a tip about two individuals involved in possible drug activity at the Meijer on State Route 28 in Miami Township.

Responding officers stopped the vehicle found two Gatorade bottles on the floorboard of the car, known as 'one pots' used to cook meth.

John D. Tunon, 37, of Wilmington, and Samantha Snyder, 33, of Lynchburg, were both arrested, and a small area of the Meijer parking lot around the vehicle was sectioned off during the investigation.

Narcotics agents dismantled and neutralized all chemical hazards at the scene.

Both Tunon and Snyder were charged with illegal manufacture of methamphetamine, a first degree felony. Authorities say if convicted they could each face up to ten years in prison and a $20,000 fine.

The case will be presented and reviewed by the Clermont County Prosecutor's Office. Authorities say there could be additional charges involving other suspects.
