Sometimes a food loses it luster way before you want it to. Here are some tips for bringing foods back to life or giving them a new one altogether.

Place in microwave for 10 seconds- eat while still warm

Potato chips

Spread on microwave safe dish and heat for 1 minute- transfer to plate lined in paper towels.


Place in zip top bag with one slice of bread for 24 hours.

Place cheese rinds into a tomato sauce to add savory depth- can use from freezer

Pickled onions

Use left over pickle juice to pickle red onions for sandwiches and salads
