Graeter's gives free cones to support cancer research

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Graeter's is giving away free cones on Wednesday to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

Free cones of Elana's Blueberry Pie Ice Cream will be given away between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at all Graeter's locations.

Guests who visit a Graeter's store during these hours have the opportunity to donate $1.00 or $5.00 to Cone for the Cure. Those that donate $5.00 will receive a gift booklet with more than $20.00 of coupons for Graeter's products.

The giveaway is held in conjunction with the Cones for a Cure campaign, a partnership between Graeter's and the Cure Starts Now Foundation.

Elena's Blueberry Pie Ice Cream is named after Elana Desserich, a little girl who passed away from pediatric brain cancer. Originally only a limited edition flavor, Elana's Blueberry Pie became a permanent flavor due to its popularity.
