FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) - Three people were injured after a crash Thursday afternoon in Franklin.
The two-vehicle accident happened around 2:45 p.m. on State Route 123 at I-75.
According to Franklin Police, a black Volkswagen was headed eastbound on 123 and apparently ran a red light at the entrance ramp to I-75 north.
Police say a silver Chevy was turning left onto the entrance ramp and was hit on the right rear panel, which spun into a nearby guardrail.
The male driver of the Volkswagen was taken to Atrium Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say a female driver of the Chevy was temporarily trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by responders from the Franklin Fire Department.
She and a male passenger were also taken to Atrium Hospital with non-life threatening in injuries.
The names of those involved have not been released.
