In the six months since Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati opened its doors, nearly 2.7 million people have gambled, dined and caught a live show at the casino complex.
Kevin Kline, Horseshoe Cincinnati senior vice president and general manager say that since its March 4 opening, casino guests have booked more than 23,000 room nights at downtown hotels. Even with those nights booked, the CincinnatiUSA Convention & Visitors Bureau reports that downtown hotel occupancy trending one percent higher compared to the same period in 2012.
Casino guests have also redeemed more than $43,000 in meals at several upscale eateries including Boca, Jean-Robert's Table, Mahogany's at the Banks, Metropole, Montgomery Inn Boathouse, Moerlein Lager House, Nada, Nicola's Ristorante Italiano, Via Vite and Sotto.
At The Spread, the casino's 400-seat buffet restaurant, one-of-a kind delicacies from Cincinnati's landmark eateries are also celebrated.
More than $800,000 of goods has been purchased from local food providers and served in on-property eateries including The Spread buffet, including Cincinnati favorites such as Avril-Bleh & Sons Meats, Busken Bakery, Delhi Produce, Graeters, Moerlein Lager House, Queen City Sausage and Servatti Bakery.
