The call taker during Amanda Berry's escape in May has received a written reprimand from the city.
The actions of the call-taker were under review for several reasons. During the call, it sounded as if the call taker cursed at the end.
According to the city and U.S. Secret Service audio expert, the call taker did not curse.
However, the city said he should have kept her on the line.
The city says the call taker should have showed more empathy and compassion and that his actions did not measure up to standards.
Back in May the city said the call taker complied with policies and procedures which enabled a very fast response by police, but noted some concerns and promised a review.
