Locals protest at Piatt Park for peaceful intervention in Syria

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - As national leaders prepare to make a decision about the United State's role in Syrian conflicts, concerned citizens rallied this weekend to express their concerns.

Cincinnati locals gathered at Piatt Park on Saturday afternoon to protest about their opposition to a U.S. attack in Syria.

The protestors called for a non-violent response, humanitarian aid, and diplomacy from the world community in reaction to the chemical warfare reported in Syria during the month of August.

Organizers say that similar rallies were being held across the country as a part of a Nation Day of Action.
