Deputies make meth arrest during traffic stop

RIPLEY COUNTY, IN (FOX19) - Ripley County Sheriff's Deputies made a methamphetamine-related arrest following a routine traffic stop.

Officers say that the incident happened just before 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning in the area of the North Co-Op on US 421.

Deputies say that they seized what they believe to be methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia from the driver of the vehicle. The driver, identified as 48-year-old Michael Wilson, was placed under arrest and transported to Ripley County Jail.

Charges against Wilson are currently pending. He is being held on a $1,050 bond.
