A suspicious package in Montgomery has proven to be merely a box of caulk wrapped in bubble wrap.
Crews were called to the scene of a 53 Bank located in the 9990 Montgomery Road, across from Montgomery Square Plaza.
A small cardboard box that was deemed suspicious was found near a light pole in front of the bank.
Cincinnati Fire Department HAZMAT crews were on the scene and Montgomery Road between School House Lane and Marketplace was briefly shut down. The 53 branch was also temporarily closed until authorities were able to determine what was inside the box.
Once it was determined the box wasn't a threat, the road was re-opened.
Montgomery city officials say the box might have fallen off a construction truck traveling down the road.
