You can now use coupons to lower your out of pocket expenses at the Dollar Tree.
The Dollar Tree is where I buy all of my party supplies, and they have my favorite toilet cleaner in the world. Everything here is a dollar or less. Now the company accepts manufacturer coupons, and you can save more money on products you use every day.
First step: check with the blogs. Sites like "Surviving the Stores" detail which products have coupons that match. The site also links any internet-printable coupons that are available.
Dollar Tree has specific rules. You can only use four like-coupons per day. Buy one get one free coupons are good to go. If you use internet printables, pick your two favorites - you can only redeem two total for the entire transaction.
The store will accept a coupon when the value is more than the price of the item, but the coupon value is reduced to match the product price. No coupons for free products will be allowed.
Hefty 15-count storage bags are a decent deal at a dollar, but when you add four "one dollar off two" coupons, the price is cut in half. I got eight boxes for $4.
Superpreztel's cheese-filled snacks are only fifty cents after I apply my "50 cents off" coupon. I got three for the price of one in a regular grocery store.
Name-brand bread and buns are a steal for a buck, but my two internet printables will take off 75 cents for each product. I got both of these for 25 cents a piece.
Make sure you check your coupon for size restrictions. Many of the products Dollar Tree carries are smaller in size and won't meet coupon qualifications.
