CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Deer Park father is accused of helping his 16-year-old son assault of another teenager.
Police say Michael Schwab, 37, allegedly drove his son around looking for another 16-year-old boy on Wednesday.
The son is accused of then beating the victim with a baseball bat, while Schwab allegedly looked on and even pulled out a knife to keep another juvenile from helping the victim. The incident was reported Wednesday near the intersection of Maple and Glenway avenues.
According to court documents, both Schwab and his son reportedly used racial slurs in the attack.
The 16-year-old victim was transported to Cincinnati Children's Hospital with injuries to his arm, back, neck and head.
Police say Schwab and his son fled the scene in his vehicle.
Schwab has been charged with felonious assault. His bond was set at $1 million during a court appearance on Friday.
