Teens killed in high speed crash laid to rest

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

One of the teenagers killed in a high speed car accident last week in Colerain Township was laid to rest on Friday. 

The crash happened in the 7500 block of Sheed Road. Police said Rachel McGrath, 16, and Eric Moormann, 19, were passengers in an Audi A6 driving eastbound at a high speed. 

The driver, Kyle Stein, lost control of the vehicle causing it to go off the right side of the road and hit a parked Ford Titanium.

Police said McGrath was in the front passenger seat and died at the scene. Moormann was a passenger in the backseat and was taken to UC Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Stein was also taken to the hospital, however his condition has not been released.

Moormann's visitation was held Thursday evening at St. James School. He was laid to rest following a service Friday morning in White Oak.

McGrath was a student at McAuley High School and a private prayer service was held for the victims Sunday inside the school's auditorium.

A visitation for McGrath will be held Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. with the funeral following at noon at McCauley High School. The school is located at 6000 Oakwood Avenue in College Hill.
