(FOX19) - McAuley High School alumni, Emily Mason, competed on Who Wants to be a Millionaire on Friday. Her parents, Bobbie and Dave Jones are also Cincinnati natives. Her mother, Bobbie, traveled to New York City to support her as her "on-air companion."

Emily competed on Thursdays show, making it to her fifth question before time ran out, she then returned Friday as a holdover contestant.

Starting Fridays show, she was at her sixth question with two lifelines left, "Jump the Question" and "Ask the Audience."

On her seventh question she unfortunately answered incorrectly, stating that "TLC" in WWE pay-per-view means, Thrusts, Lunges and Crunches instead of Tables, Ladders and Chairs.  She did leave the show with $1,000 in winnings.

She plans to use that $1,000 to help her in her transition into life in New York City. She moved to the Big Apple a few weeks before her appearance on the show with her husband and high school sweetheart Bill and their 2½ year old son Liam.

Emily is a graphic designer and avid runner, with nine full marathons and 22 half marathons on her resume.

You can see back-to-back episodes of 'Millionaire' weekdays on FOX19 at 1 and 1:30 p.m.
