CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A large piece of art is being installed on the outside of the Contemporary Arts Center downtown.
The museum, located at 6th and Walnut, is bringing in work from a renowned artist. The artist J.R. is known for his large format outdoor installations called 'Pastings' where the image is literally glued to an outdoor surface, such as the side of a building or the surface of a street.
The new exhibit at the Center for Contemporary Art, called Inside Out, will be slightly different.
"His work is primarily outside," says Pedro Alonzo, Guest Curator of the exhibition. "We worked for three years to develop an exhibition to bring the work into the museum."
The new exhibit will be at the Contemporary Arts Center until February.
