Public libraries offer new options for streaming

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two Greater Cincinnati area public libraries have expanded their services to offer library card holders more access to streaming movies and music.

The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County and Kenton County Public Library are both offering Hoopla and Freegal, which will enable cardholders to view up to eight movies or television episodes per month or download more than 500,000 song titles from artists of multiple genres.

Movies and televisions shows will be available for 24 hours and are automatically returned after three day checkout periods. This practice will ultimately help eliminate late fees and holds.

Other local libraries are offering a variety of other streaming and music services, just check your library's website for more information.
